Eyelash extensions: classic, hybrid and volume explained

The artificial lashes are attached one by one to your own lashes with a special adhesive, just above the lash line. You lie with your eyes closed. Because every extension is attached to one of your own lashes, it falls out with it when that lash is replaced in the natural cycle.

The number tells you how many artificial lashes make up one fan. With 2D there are two, with 6D six. The more lashes a fan has, the finer each one is, so that your own lash can carry the weight comfortably. This is why volume lashes look full and still light.

• Classic 1:1 looks like your own lashes, only longer and stronger. Good for every day if your own lashes are dense enough.
• Hybrid mixes single lashes and small fans: fuller than classic, with a soft, natural transition.
• Volume 2D to 6D gives a visibly full lash line and fills gaps where your own lashes are fine.
• Mega volume 7D to 10D is the densest level, for a striking look.

On request we also add a few longer spikes, known as wispy lashes, or coloured lashes (€5 extra).

After two to four weeks some lashes have fallen out. An infill replaces them. The price depends on how long ago the last treatment was; after five weeks the full-set price applies. More on this in the article Infill or full set.

• No water or steam on the lashes for the first few hours.
• Do not rub or pull.
• Do not use oily products around the eyes.
• Brush the lashes into shape with a clean spoolie.
